Job Purpose : The role is responsible for delivering specific advanced analytics projects and drive data-driven decision-making and innovation within the organization. This role involves identifying projects, understanding the business need, delivering the development and implementation of advanced analytics, machine learning models, and data strategies to solve complex business problems individually or with team of data scientists. The Senior TM Data Scientist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective use of data, provide strategic insights, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company. 4) Key Result Areas/Accountabilities: Key Result Areas/Accountabilities Supporting Actions Analytics Projects identification, Execution, Delivery, and sustenance. Own Critical Business cases from various SBUs to identify opportunities, prioritize and undertake high Impact analytics projects as agreed with the plant/cluster/ function and corporate Digital. Personally deliver at least 2 high impact analytics projects and guide the data scientist team to deliver 2-3 advanced analytics projects. Help define the team scope and Objective to Deliver Advance Analytics and guide Skill development to sustain such Projects Support in creating Analytics Roadmap for Business teams and Ensure governance and execution of the same Engage in a Player Coach model in AI/ML for overall/Critical Business use cases or Hindalco wide use cases with External / Internal Data Science Partners. Develop and Maintain standards in MLOps and Data Science Implementation of the team. Review Code and Frameworks Adopted by the DS team and business to suite the needs for different scenarios Ensure creation of Adoption Strategies for ML AI explainability s Digital Analytics Enablement at Plants Lead Discussions with Business Team on use cases pertaining to Productivity, quality, cost, asset reliability, sales and other functions Engage partner with Data Scientists and Plant Business leaders to identify priorities, co-develop solutions Be a ML translator to high impact complex projects and work hands-on along with the analytics partners Work with partner and plants team to facilitate, co-develop and deliver analytics solution Ensure Project and Fiscal management for DS projects for consistent Delivery Guide and Support plant advanced analytics projects. Guide Data Scientists and Partners in overall business strategies as agreed with their plant and corporate Digital team. Provide expertise to leadership on advance analytics through continuous engagements. Analytics capability building at Plant Conduct training for at least twice in quarter as per the calendar and program set by Corporate Digital and HTU. Support and oversee the Engagements lead by Data Scientists in plant to build a Data based decisions culture by training /guiding on analytics tools support in delivery. Develop the Program for CDS with HTU as well as Data Enablement Programs for Shop floor based on inputs from CDS and Data Scientists Innovation and Self development Work with Experienced partners and Plan engagements with other Data Science teams from different industries Develop at least 1 novel methodology for data Science application in Aluminum manufacturing Develop skills in Oracle Cloud and Azure Cloud services for ML as needed for successful execution and developing analytics culture. Work with Institutions like IIT, NITs to oversee and co-develop AI/ML techniques for the Business. Qualifications: Bachelor Of Engineering
